The UDDS is an old test cycle, acknowledged also as U.S. FTP-72 (Government Test Process) cycle or LA-4 cycle, which is a tiny well known for the reason that it is far too upbeat.
It had been first frustrating when the Nissan LEAF in 2011 was not equipped to offer a real-world 100 miles (161 km) of range, observed in the LA-4 result. A couple of years later, the U.S. market switched to EPA exams, but it really appears that CARB is still employing UDDS in its ZEV credits documents.
